fault code : recirculation damper motor active too long 850 1995

It opens and closes the recert door, for outside air to be let into the car or kept out. If you remove the glove box you can see a white plastic arm that is connected to the motor and a rod that works the door. No oiling, etc. Check to see if the plastic arm is broken, it often is. The replacement arm is black plastic, lasts longer.
