u could also go to volvo's owner website and look up the vin number urself.


YV1 L W ## # X V 1 000000

YV1 = volvo's designation
L = 850 series
W = 5 door series (wagon)
## for u should be 58 if it is a true r car

ignore the next # and X

V = 1997 (T = 1996)
1 = Manufacturing plant, there are 4 here (1, 2, 3, J)

and the last six digits are the car serial number
