94 850T WGN Engine problems

Hello,
I am new to this wonderful site.
I am about to take my 94 850T wagon in to a mechanic because of a power loss problem.

Symptoms are.
While driving over bumps in road the the car looses power and stalls.
check engine light goes on and car shakes violently (not because of bumps in road:)

I have also noticed while at high speed when I step on the gas the car feels as if it looses power and jumps.

Could this be engine mount issue a fuel injection issue or soemthing else?

Any help or suggestions on what to look out for if a mechanic is giving me false info.

Any help is greatly appreciated
