Power Steering Fluid Leaking V70-XC70

My 99 V70 has a very slow leak of power steering fluid, one mechanic said at least 600 to replace it. Still not sure if the pump is what is actually leaking is it worth replacing or can I get just a gasket replacement. It only has 35000 miles it sat for a while. How long is warranty good for??
