AHHhhhh.... car alarm question 850 1995

i cant for the life of me figure out why the alarm is not working rite. when connected to the yellow/gray wire the car doesnt lock. it has a dual polarity on the alarm locking system. it is hooked up to the negative polarity setting on the alarm. when a negative pulse is sent to the unlock wire(grey REd) it works when i test is by locking the door and remote unlocking works. according to the wiring diagrams the yellow gray wire locks it. bulldog security's wiring colors charts state that the 93-94 850 use that (yellow, gray) wire as the lock wird and the volvo diagrams state the same. but in the charts for the 1995-1997 850's as the pink blue wire,, but the volvo diagrams state that the blue pink wire is the lock wire. so which one is it? i am installing it in my aunts 1995, i thought it would be a easy job due to the fact that i installed it in my 1996. would it lock if a negative signal was sent to the unlock wire while the car is unlocked? i have the wiring diagrams that Hamfisted sent me and the haynes book which are the same. does any one have the diagrams for a 1996 850 keyless system/ doorlock system so i can compare with the ones in the 1995 so i can see the difference in the 1995 and 1996's. the visual difference is the door lock switch on the dash. i need to know the wiring differences. or does anyone know the color of the lock wire for the 1995's. by the way hooking it up to the yellow gray wire only locked the car when the rear drivers door and tailgate were not ooked up. can i use a wire straight from the keyless module ?
thanks in advance sorry for the length of the post
