I have a similar problem with my keyless entry. Sometimes I can make it unlock, other times it is lock only. I'd be interested in a solution also.

As for Forever Black- great stuff. Used it on my '96 850 T. It took several coats to get it dark and even, but the bumpers and trim look like new.
