If you plan on bringing it there I would suggest picking up a Mann or Oem Oil filter first and ask them to use that one instead of whatever they put in.
I made the mistake of using one of those cheap filters and you can tell at startup that its causing wear and tear on the engine. I quickly changed it to a volvo brand. They have anti fo back (or something like that) were all the oil from the top of the engine flows back to the pan. So its a dry startup after the car has been sitting.
Also synthethic oil is also recommended but not necessary. (I use it though)
