Hello All,

I have the AM/FM with built-in 4 CD changer in my '99 S80 T6. It died, so I'm looking for a replacement. I found a few at some local salvage yards, but my question is: Will the new CD player work if I swap it out? I'm asking this because I know that there is a theft deterent system that's supposed to disable the radio if it is stolen. Will simply taking a radio/cd player out of one car and swapping it with another one work?
