Hi, L.U.!
Toe in is something like standing with your toes pointing in The distance between your feet at the toes is less than the distance between your heels. On a car, the distance between the inner edges at the fronts of your tires is less than the distance between the inner edges at their rears. I'm not much of a suspension/handling guru, but I gather that the purpose of toe in (in addition to the caster) is to essentially keep your wheels from minimally flopping from side to side (wandering) as you drive straight and furthermore to enable you to begin to turn the vehicle the moment you turn the steering wheel -- the outer front tire is already inducing the car to turn by being 'pre-oriented' for the turn. It doesn't take much toe in to accomplish all this, and it sounds like you might have excessive toe in.
Here's a link to a toe in submission to the FWD board earlier in the year:

Hope this helps.
