Buying an 850

The 850 is a complicated automobile. It is easy enough to work on, but my experience of late has been not easy on the wallet: 2 cv boots (150 @ rebuilt axle), engine mount (20), steering wheel contact reel (150), AC blower (150), 02 sensors (front & back, 130 @), wheel bearings (150), interior temp sensor (80), ... some things I don't even bother fixing any more.

If you like the car, be prepared to do your own work or pay through the nose.

The only redeeming thing about it is the wonderful support available on this web site.
