Hello list,


here is my problem, i was pulling into a parking space and when i shifted to park i noticed the yellow arrow strarting flashing, when i looked at the winter mode switch (i thought maybe i pushed it when shifting to park) the sport and econ lights were blinking alternately one then the other. I switched the winter mode and the all the lights were still flashing, i turned off the car and restarted it, all lights still flashed. i shifed to reverse aned moved to another parking space, when i did this the car was in first gear not winter mode, drove around lot, parked car, shut it off, back on lights still flashing. Now did i mention this was at the airport and i needed to catch a flight, i will be back tomorrow to get my car and wanted some info.

The temp was about 40 degrees, i thought i heard the PNP switches fail when it is cold, is this right?

I do have a code scanner, but have not pulled the codes.
Does this sound like the infamous PNP switch?

I am in the process of searching the forumns, but wanted to post this message also.
