YES,IT OCCURS ONCE THE KEY IS IN THE IGNITION AND TURNED TO ACCESSORY POSTION OR WHEN THE ENGINE IS RUNNING AT IDLE OR AT HIGHER SPEEDS. DOES NOT INCREASE WITH ENGINE SPEED...STAYS CONSTANT.
