master power window switch 850 1995

The driver window will go down easily but it make take several tries to get it up. I have the master switch in the center console. Can you just replace the driver window switch or do you have replace it all and does anyone have good ideas on how to do that. Could it be the switch is just dirty and only makes intermittent contact? Should I try to clean it before I replace it, again how do I get at it. Thanks for any info.
