Hi,
I recently bought used 1994 850 very cheaply. It's been running fine and up till now I hadn't found the exact reason the car was sold so cheaply.
Yesterday I noticed three lines which I believe go from the fuel pump to the engine just hanging in a gentle arc beneath the car (at the lowest point about six inches off the ground). The lines are still attached and the car is working fine, but they just swing freely beneath the car. When I examined them I found they had been taped to the bottom of the car with duct tape.
I have the Haynes book and the Chiltons book, but neither shows or explains how to correctly install these three lines. I think two of them are the fuel and return lines. Is there a picture on-line someplace, or could someone describe in detail how these lines are supposed to be installed beneath the car.
Thanks in advance
Chris
