Which tires? 850 1995

Looking for some tire advice.

I'm going to need tires soon for my 850 turbo sedan. I'm looking at Michelin Energy MXV+ (205/55R16's) and Bridgestone Potenza S03 but am open to any suggestions.

Cost is a factor, but above that handling, noise, tread life are important.
I live in the mountains and drive 3.5 miles down a winding road at least 4 times a week. I'm an average driver (I guess), driving in town and on the freeway. We have wet winters in the Santa Cruz mountains, so a tire with good wet road traction is important.

I had Michelin MXV+ (different tire) on my 940 and managed about 23K miles on the tires. Better tread life would be, well, better, but the mountain driving really does a number on that. Any suggestions?
