Gearshift locked up S80

Sounds like you need may to replace the brake light switch on the brake pedal. I have an 850 and have had to replace this switch a couple of times already because of this same problem. This switch is the one that signals the brake lights to come on and also signals the shifter to unlock. It could have an intermittant failure. This solved my problem on the 850.
