Glad you mentioned this. By little red light on dash, I assume you mean the alarm light centered at top of dash near windshield, the one that blinks when doors are locked? The only other red light on the dash is the anti-theft light on my radio. Or is there another one I'm not seeing?

Yeah, I pointed the second remote to that light, the other, working, remote I punched as well but it's attached to the key ring down at the ignition. Since it's already working, I assume I don't need to fiddle with it off the key ring?
