Blew up door speaker. What do replace with? size? 850

yeah the 96 850R suddenly made a "THWAP" from the door speaker one day when i had it cranked loud. I think its the door speaker...now it does it and its quite annoying.
On a semi-budget, what can i get that sounds excellent overall, but won't blow up like this one or distort when i crank the bass on heavy?
What size are all the stock speakers? I dont want to cut anything, are there any brands that don't fit? I see the infinity kappa's dont...
how many watts does my stereo put out? I've got the premium audio system with CD, CD changer controls and tape deck (It's the nicest one, judging by the owners manual)
