Fistly 'us' Europeans do notice it when the AC doesnt work! Well, I do, thats why I repalced my leaking evaporator. No sunroof, black leather, and loads of glass and no AC can be very uncomfortable.

Mine does the same at the moment. Does the AC come back on of its own accord, or does it work again if AC switched off and then back on again a few minutes later (which is what happens with mine)See my post and responses from 30th June.
