IMHO - Best combination is:

Koni Sport Adjustables (Yellow) Struts in the Front

Bilstein HD in the rear.

Thoe Koni's are phenominal in terms of ride quality enhancement ! Not too firm -and even at max firmness they are acceptable for smooth city street driving.

Best money I ever spent on this money pit of a piece of Volvo junk.
