I used the Intermatic AC Recharge system with their Metal and Rubber sealants over a year ago, so far so good. Everything together cost about $50, which included a can of R134a, pressure gauge with connector hose, metal sealant, and rubber sealant. Before the sealant, a recharge would only last about 4-6 months. Sure beats a $1200 evaporator replacement or at least delay it awhile.
