Right, the cup holder works if you don't drive OR you don't put the cups in it. Otherwise either the cup flies out of it giving your upholtery a nice McBath or the cupholder breaks if you so much as nudge it the wrong way while the cup is in it. Great design! I wouldn't mind having a cup holder, but it is not a necessity for me, I guess. I've been driving long enough to realize that it is possible to drive and NOT have a beverage.
