I have the same problem. In addition to it, when I park my car outside for more that 2 hrs under hot sun (basically when it gets too hot inside & out), the top would not go down. It lifts up to a point and stops. I can hear a motor in the top dying at that point. I took it to the dealer 4 times for the same issue already. Almost all the time, they had to either re-calibrate or replace the potentiometer. But the problem persists. It's still with the dealer now. For the 5th time. :-(
