Ron, welcome to volvoland.

The '99 and newer 70 series don't use distributor cap, rotor and cables. The spark plugs use electronics for firing, which are the gadgets on top of each spark plug.

Try this site for lots of info on maintenance on 800/ 70 series volvos.
