the biggest problem you have is that only the dealer can load the software. so your kinda stuck. there is a software program for independant shops available now, but its so pricey that i dont think youll find any one that has it. the instrument clusters on those cars have been kinda problamatic, ive had several customers that had repeated problems and they alleventually had the clusters replaced. i dont know that this is your problem or not, one thing you might try before your trip is to have the remotes reprogrammed together, to make sure your not having an alarm glitch.
