GLT has low pressure turbo beginning 1997
T5 is high pressure turbo
R is Eurospeak for a kind of street-racing level, different chip and trim in Volvo.

The new V70R, like it's long-awaited S60R cousin, will be AWD 300hp. However, you can put the IPD chip in a T5 and get close to the same horsepower - but without dragging the extra axle (and weight) around you'd likely be a faster car.
