IPD ECU upgrade questions S70 1998

Hi Steve,

I am aware of the possibility of the dealer performing a download and wiping out the program IPD installed. IPD said that they would re-flash it for free as long as I could prove by first sending them the dealer invoice that stated that an ECU download was performed.

There are two things I am concerned about:

1. Since the ECU upgrade cannot be reversed I was wondering if it will affect the resale value of the car when I decide to sell the car later on. I am assuming not.

2. Will the ECU upgrade wipe out any ECU download fixes that was done by the dealer in the past? I am not clear on IPD's response when I spoke to them yesterday.
