Did the dealer do a 4 wheel alignment? They should have a
computer printout from the measuring equipment with all
measurements. Things like "thrust angle" should be measured
and listed on the readout. Just aligning the front wheels
is not really enough with the 850/70 series since the rear
suspension is something of a passive rear wheel steering
design and it needs to be correct, too.
(See http://www.brickboard.com/ARCHIVES/1999APR/10010344.shtml
for a description of thrust angle.)
I hit a curb and my car pulled to the side. A 4 wheel alignment
by the dealer fixed the problem. Cost was about $90. I asked for
a copy of the measurementts and they gave me before and after copies.
It was out of spec. based on the initial measurements and they got it
all back within spec. based on the final measurement.
