Cruise Control and Rear End Collision !

Hi,

I have a 1994 stock 850. Spent 2 hours last night under the hood trying to fix cruise control. Took out battery, and battery base board. Unscrewed the CC unit from the battery base. Cleaned contacts and ensured that black vacuum hose was attached correctly. Put it back together and still no cruise. I spent a few hundred last month having a local Volvo shop replace the PNP switch. Wonder if he knocked something loose getting to the switch. Fuse is O.K. Guess I'll check for whatever the issue is behind the brake pedal. (Any idea what to look for ??)

By the way, got rear ended by a 1995 Acura today. Young kid said the clutch slipped. He hit me at about 20 MPH. My rear bumper is now at 45 degree angle. Left rear passenger door is tough to close. Amazingly little or no damage to his car. I was floored. Any ideas what to look for ? Gas Tank ? Frame damage ?
