ebay/online car purchase..feedback request..considerations?

I bought my 1995 850 turbo on ebay last year and it was a very pleasant transaction. I located a car near me, emailed the seller and asked if he would let me have it inspected before we closed the deal. He agreed and we settled on a price. He then withdrew the car from the auction and we brought the car to my indie Volvo guy. For the past year and a half the car has been great. i just did my taxes and I think I spent a total of $350 in maintenance (which includes the oil changes) last year. Not too bad. 116,000 miles.
