Modify the Stereo? V70-XC70 2001

Hi!

My V70 has a HU-613 stereo. I was wondering if there was a modification to extend it to play MP3s. I was thinking something burned onto a CD-ROM (much like the CD-ROM type portables). It seems like it hsould be pretty strait-forward.
