as a former goodyear tire engineer i am sold on Michelins.

dont think you can beat them for quality and durability.

i had to buy mine at sams then take them to a local garage because i didnt think i needed the high speed type tires that came with the car.(i very rarely go over 75mph less alone 120mph) so i opted for the michelin x plus (80,000mile) tires for my 1998s70glt.most tire stores now a days are scared of lawsuits so they refuse to put anything on the car but what the book says to use

i have used every brand and pirelli's are great but they have sidewall cracking problems...apparently they dont put enuff chemicals in the sidewalls to prevent ozone cracking.good luck.
