I happened to be rounding a particular corner and got on it (1995 850 T wagon) when I heard this POP and then surging engine. Made it home but engine would stall out, repeat stall when started. When running it would surge ahead slow surge. Stomping on it had no effect at all. No codes or indications othewise. Ran fine 20 minutes before with no problems.
