simple.... 850 1995

Turn wipers on. Turn ign off when wipers are at 12:00. Bend arm below pivot towards glass.....fixed!
This ailment is caused by the wipers being stuck on ice or by using them to push snow. Don't use them to push heavy snow and if frozen, lift each blade free first when you get to the car before trying the wipers.
I see this every winter on many FWD Volvos, no need to replace parts, etc.
