i get the over revving at startup also and its NOT normal check your vacumn pipes, clean the throttle housing, grease your throttle linkages etc etc.

although i did all this and it still happens!!!! i think it maybe a bad idle control valve but i haven't got a ecu light!!! not yet anyway!!!

if u fix it can u let me know???
