"Stalls in damp weather."

There's a pattern here, which leads to . . .

. . . ignition system problem.

Why did you need a recharge? Is your battery in that bad a shape? If so, get a new one.

Or, did you run the battery down trying to restart the car. Don't do that. If a car will not start in a minute, or two, of cranking, it's not going to start in 15 minutes of cranking.
