I have never had your problem before, but there is always the hot boot method. Unlock the battery cables for about five minutes to reset everything. One you lock the cable back up you will probably have to reset the radio, clock, etc.. and maybe ther remote.

I have a 97, to reprogram your remote her are the steps:

- get in the car and ensure all the doors are closed.
- put the key in the ignition and turn it on and off 3, or is it 5 times. The last time leave the key in the on position. The alarm light on your dash sould start flashing.
- push one of the keys on the remote and the light on the dash will go steady on for a moment. When it starts flashing again you may program another remote plush push the button on the remote control.
- your finished, turn the ignition off.
