Check Engine Light S40-V40 2000

My check engine light lit up a few days ago but it was out this morning and has yet to return. The only thing I did last night was I topped up the anti-freeze (about 8 or 9 oz. - it was just below the min. line), I also accidently put in regular gas (I've been using mid-grade). Does anyone think I still bring my car in to have it looked at or should I just wait for it to lite up again.
