Squeeling blower 850 1995

I have the same problem. Same car, same year, same country. Same quirkyness. The squeal sometimes starts when I go over a bump, and only happens when the fan is on low. I hear it best when I shut it off.

I read somewhere that it was possible to correct the squeal by taking the glove box out and spraying some WD 40 onto the bearing area. I haven't tried it though. Seems like its worth a try compared to $260 CDN for a rinky dink little electric motor. Either that or wait until it dies

Anyone know of an aftermarket solution?
