Acceleration Problem or Typical? V70-XC70 2001

I doubt that it's a full second. I presume the 't' stands for turbo, which will take an instant to spool up and begin providing boost. Because the initial movement is essentially under normal aspiration until the boost comes up; this sluggishness feels like hesitation.

On the other hand, if you've got one of them new-fangled drive by wire set-ups (yuk), then an additional few nanoseconds are required for the ECU to figure out what's going on and respond accordingly. (I'll be within five years, some aftermarket company will be selling mechanical bypasses some of these computerized goodies).
