I got the same problem but changing the wiper arm might not eventually solve the problem. I try to bend it out by grabbing the blade holder with my right hand and pull and grab the middle of the arm with my left and push . The result is fine,no more shuddering. My friend's S70 got the same problem and I did the same to his car and voila! Problem solved.(my car is right hand drive)
