Soon I'm going to toss new plugs, rotor & cap in my 98 S70 GLT. On past cars I've had, the rotor just slipped on a shaft, end of installation.
According to my maintenance manual, on this volvo there are 3 screws that hold the rotor on, and it mentions making a mark so when you put the new rotor on, you can align it to the same position the old one was at. How critical is this?
Also, taking the cap off looks to be a pain with everything else around it, especially reaching the bottom screw that holds it on. Any tips on getting it off?
And regarding the flame trap, my manual implies that only the non-turbos have a flame trap, is that the case? If so, does the turbo have anything similar or a PVC valve I have to check/replace?
Thanks
