I recently purchased a 1999 v70 that did not come with an owner's manual. Until the one I ordered arrives, could someone describe the climate control operation. It has the two-sided arrangement. My primary curiosity is how the AUT fan speed and the AUT air distribution work. What criteria do the two controls base their "decisions" on? Also, I noticed that with one manual air distribution setting (I forget which one), the air conditioning turned itself on. It seemed strange since the outside air temperature was 47 degrees. Was it possibly blowing cold air on the windshield while blowing warm air into the seating area? Any/all response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.
