Code 4.1.4 ..last time problem with Flashing climate controls lights..need help 850

It would not really be valid to assume it is the same part. The
electronic climate controls do have a few common problems. Only
way to find out for sure is to have the codes read. However, some
failures are more obvious. The AC and Recirc lights would flash
on my 98 when I started the fan (the fan ran a second then stopped).
Pretty obvious it was the blower fan (and this is a common problem)
so I replaced the fan and fixed it. But, had it been a sensor or
anything else there would have been no way to tell without a code
reader.
