Swedish Car Day, Oct 20, Boston MA

Hello all, this is a friendly neighborhood reminder that Swedish Car Day 2002 is coming up soon, on October 20! Last
year was a great show, the pictures are still up on my website. This year, I hope that we can continue the trend of
increasing attendance, the Saabs are still outnumbering us. This despite the fact that I have been told that Volvo, and
NOT Saab, is the cooler car in Sweden!

Last year, quite a few people came from out of state, including Irv Gordon, the 2 Million Mile man himself. There was
also a show from a member of the Volvo/Cannondale bike team, who jumped from obstacle to obstacle, in drizzly
weather!

For directions and stuff, visit the website for the Museum of Transportation. I think the charge is $10 to get your car
into the event. There will be food available, and all kinds of stuff to see. Last year I won a remote control S60 as a door
prize! The event starts at 10am, and ends at 3 pm. I believe that if you arrive with your car earlier, as early as 9, you can
get in for setting up.
