Its pretty easy. I took the links off my car and drove it to see
if that was my noise problem (in my case, it was not). To do this:
Jack up the car and remove the wheel. You will see the link from the
strut tower to the sway bar. Just unbolt both ends. The tricky part
is that the sway bar is a spring and moves up a couple inches after the
link is removed. You have to push it back down to put the link back on.
To push the sway bar down I used a sort length of pipe with the end
under the A arm and the top over the sway bar. Just push down to put the
sway bar into the correct position. Once you see it the above makes
more sense.
Also, if you push down on the sway bar, using the length of pipe, during
removal it makes removal a bit easier (cause the sway bar is pushing up
on the link while you are trying to remove it).
