clutch throw-out bearing? V70-XC70 1998

My clutch is making a "wonderful" loud whining sound when engaging the clutch into first gear. It does this intermitantly, however it is more frequent after I have been driving it and the frequency has increased lately. I'm thinking that this is either:

A) my throw-out bearing is going
B) something else
C) clutch dust resonating on the backside of the clutch-plate?

Anyone worked on Manual trannys for 850/S/V 70's that could lend me some advice? Thanks bricksters.
