Craig, more years ago than I like to think about, I worked for Champion Spark Plug in Toledo. Coat your plug threads lightly with an anti-seize compound. Screw the plugs in finger tight, then use a standard 3/8" ratchet, and give the plug a 1/4 turn. That will compress the compression ring, and seat the plug properly. It's a lot easier than using a torque wrench. I also have a set of them, but for plugs, this is faster and safer. You don't run the risk of over torquing a plug, and stripping out the threads.
