Colors 850

I'm looking for a 96 or 97 850 turbo. As far as colors go, I would prefer either a dark blue or a goldish-beige color that I think is called "champagne."
I was wondering whether some colors hold up better than others over time (i.e., less fading and washout).

Also, there seem to be many black 850's in the classifieds. One seller told me "if it wasn't black I would've sold it a month ago." I think the black 850's look nice. Are there any disadvantages to black, other than the attraction of heat factor?
