you did not state what year your car is ???????
96-97, you need an obd-2 reader, for a laptop, desktop, palm, or stand alone. there are several products out there to meet your need from reasonable to ridiculous. if you have a lower than 96 however, you're in luck cause the reader is built-in located under the hood.
